Stage Manager

 

Krystle has been stage managing since her freshman year in high school. She had the opportunity to start with a show called, The Bloody Attack of the Evil, Demonic, Giraffe Puppet, by Bradley Walton. She went on to stage manage 4 additional shows in high school including, Hello, Dolly! Her senior year she was the Assistant Stage Manager for Anyone Can Whistle at James Madison University.
 
After high school, Krystle went to Belmont University where she received her BA in Songwriting with a theatre minor. Not being a theatre major didn't stop her though. She stage managed 17 shows over the four years including, Les Misérables (first colliegiate production), The Drowsy Chaperone, Hairspraybobrauschenbergamerica, the world premiere of Just South of GihonAlmost, Maine in which Krystle was nominated for stage management in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and her own full-length original musical, Hold please...I'm harvesting pineapple.
 
Krystle graduated from Belmont in 2013 and went straight to Columbia University, where she graduated in 2015 with her MFA in Stage Management. 
 
Since moving to New York in 2013, Krystle has worked on numerous Staged Readings, Showcases, Off-Off Broadway, and Off-Broadway productions, mostly as a Production Stage Manager. Most recently she worked with Swine Palace at LSU on The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. She is a member of Actor's Equity and also works at Juilliard as an over-hire stage manager for the Concert Office.

In addition to stage managing, Krystle is also well versed in many technical areas including projection, lights, sound, and basic carpentry. She has toured with StarQuest International Dance Competition as an Auditor/Judge's Manager, was the Audit Trainer her fourth year, and is now a Scheduler.
